The Strength of Hope

I walked along the dusty road in the fading light
How desperately I sought salvation in the dead of night
It seemed to me all roads just brought me to where I stayed
I’ll admit that I don’t always know the way

I stopped for a moment, shed my tears on that stone
I tried to believe I was somewhere but all I was was alone
Suddenly my heart lifted, I would keep walking into that night
For somewhere up the road, there had to be light

The strength of hope is all you need
The strength of hope is what pulls you through
If life were easy, where would all the adventures be?
Believe in the strength of hope, you can do anything

I felt the rhythm of my footsteps on the solid ground
All I saw was my destiny and I knew I was found
For one who finds hope can never be lost
And to this freedom, there is no cost

I felt down and lonely but hope lent me a hand
Hope gave me a lantern and the strength to stand
But now I’ve found my beautiful destiny
I can bask in the joy of being free

The strength of hope is all you need
The strength of hope is what pulls you through
If life were easy, where would all the adventures be?
Believe in the strength of hope, you can do anything

The strength of hope is all you need
The strength of hope is what pulls you through
If life were easy, where would all the adventures be?
Believe in the strength of hope, you can do anything

The strength of hope is all you need
The strength of hope is what pulls you through
If life were easy, where would all the adventures be?
Believe in the strength of hope, you can do anything
