10 Word Poem Challenge

For the next 30 days, I’ll be doing a ten word poem challenge! I’ll write a series of poems using exactly ten words. Each day’s poem will have a different theme. I encourage my readers to participate in this challenge – anyone can be a poet! Of course, if ten words isn’t enough, you could do a twenty word challenge or whatever. It’s up to you. Do whatever you want, as long as it’s a minimalist poem. Anyone who participates in this challenge will receive a mention on my blog at the end of the month, thanking them for taking part in this. Please leave a comment below if you’re interested & tag your minimalist poems with “10wordchallenge” so that I can find your posts. Any style of poetry may be used – Haiku, freeform, acrostic, etc. Oh, & by the way, as long as you write 30 poems before August 31, 2012, you can divide them up any way you want. Publish seven poems a week, publish one a day, publish 30 of them on August 31! It’s up to you. 🙂

Here are the themes/topics for each day’s poems:

Poem 1: What the meaning of your life is

Poem 2: A message you want to share with the world
